Kenneth graduated from Edinburgh University in 1979 and qualified as a Solicitor in 1981. He has been a Partner since 1984 and deals primarily with Residential and Commercial Conveyancing, Wills, Powers of Attorney and Executries. Kenneth is a Notary Public as well as a Writer to the Signet and regularly attends the meetings of the Edinburgh Conveyancers’ forum and the Edinburgh Solicitors’ Property Centre. Kenneth is a keen member of two Golf Clubs and enjoys playing whenever his wife allows.
Morag graduated from Edinburgh University in 1988 and qualified as a Solicitor in 1990. She is a Partner in the Private Client Department. She helps private individuals with their personal affairs including the purchase and sale of property, preparation of Wills, Powers of Attorney and the administration of Estates following death. Morag also provides advice on Commercial Leases and the purchase and sale of commercial property. Morag is a Notary Public and is Clerk to the Queen Street Gardens situated in the centre of Edinburgh’s New Town. Morag is married with two daughters.
Lauren joined Aitken Nairn WS in January 2016. After completing her traineeship with a full service firm in Edinburgh, she joined a Dispute Resolution team where she dealt with a broad range of both criminal and civil litigation, but with a focus on child and family law. Given her interest in this particular area, Lauren subsequently joined the Family Law team at Aitken Nairn WS where she now advises on a range of matters, including financial provision on divorce, cohabitation claims, child law and adults with incapacity issues. Lauren has considerable experience in representing clients in the Sheriff Court.
Lauren is a member of the Family Law Association and a Notary Public.
Francesca joined Aitken Nairn WS in October 2016. After completing her traineeship in Dumfries in 2015, she joined the Land and Rural Business team at Brodies LLP but developed a particular interest in residential property law. Francesca subsequently joined the Private client team at Aitken Nairn WS and deals primarily with the sale and purchase of property as well as preparation of Wills and the administration of Estates following death. Francesca enjoys running for charity, yoga and pilates.
Yvonne has been with Aitken Nairn WS for over twenty five years and qualified as a Wills, Trusts and Executry Paralegal in 2001. As well as assisting the Partners with the administration of estates, she also completes Tax Returns and Trust Accounts. Yvonne attends to the day-to-day running of the Centre, East and West Gardens along Queen Street. Yvonne enjoys pilates and yoga and is married with two daughters.
Roz offers clients over twenty five years experience in the administration of Executries, twelve of which have been with Aitken Nairn WS. Originally from Glasgow, she has been happily settled in Edinburgh for over twenty years. She is a first class paralegal who is caring and approachable. She is married with three children and assorted animals who keep her busy when she is not working. She works part-time Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30am to 5:00pm.
